There are also unconfirmed reports of ad platforms disliking synthetic people in ads, and regulation is moving fast. The EU AI Act, for example, requires clearly labeling AI-generated humans because of the rise of deepfakes and scams.If AI avatars are what you need, there are many services that specialize in them, and we recommend picking one of those instead.

Why does my credit balance go down and then come back up?

That is the reservation system working as intended. When a generation starts, we reserve an estimate of its cost so a run can never spend credits you do not have. Your visible balance drops by the full reserved amount right away.The estimate is deliberately on the high side. As the video is built, the actual credits used are taken from the reservation, and when the run finishes, whatever was not needed is released back to your balance immediately. That is why you may see your balance dip while videos are generating and then bounce back up once they complete.You are only ever charged for what your video actually used, and only for successful generations. If a run fails, the whole reservation is released.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

What happens if I run out of credits mid-month?

You have two options: buy a top-up credit pack, or upgrade to a bigger plan, which applies immediately. Credits are valid for 2 months (3 on annual billing), so a heavy month can borrow from a light one.

What happens to unused credits if I cancel?

Your credits remain usable until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and after that they expire. Account access is paused when the subscription ends, but your files stay stored for their normal 90-day period, so if you resubscribe within that window, your projects are waiting in My Files.

Files are stored for 90 days from creation, then automatically deleted, so download anything you want to keep permanently.If your subscription ends, access to your account is paused, but your files are not deleted right away: resubscribe within the 90-day window and everything is right where you left it in My Files.

Yes. In My Files, each project has a trash icon that permanently deletes it from your account. If you want everything gone, your account settings include a delete account button that removes your entire account and all its contents.

You do. Every video and image you generate on FacelessAd is yours to use however you want, including in paid advertising campaigns, on social media, on your website, and anywhere else. There are no extra license fees and no attribution required.

Yes. You can create videos for your clients and deliver them as part of your services. Agencies and freelancers are a big part of our user base. The videos you generate are yours to hand over, and your clients can run them in their own ad accounts.
