Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FacelessAd (the "Service"), an AI-powered tool for creating video and image advertisements. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

FacelessAd lets you generate advertising videos, images, voiceovers, music, and related assets using artificial-intelligence models operated by third-party providers. The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Output quality depends on the underlying AI models and your inputs; we do not guarantee that any particular output will meet your expectations or be fit for a specific purpose. Playful status messages shown while a video is being generated (for example lines about editors, studios, or invoices) are humorous illustrations of the time and cost that traditional video production used to involve — they do not describe activities we actually perform.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you use our developer surface (API, CLI, or MCP), your API keys are confidential credentials: keep them secret, and all usage made with your keys counts as your usage, including credit consumption. We may rotate or revoke keys and apply rate and concurrency limits to protect the Service. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions, credits, and billing

Access to the Service requires an active paid subscription. Plans are billed monthly or annually in USD through our payment processor, Stripe. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of credits used to generate content. Credits from your subscription expire three (3) months after they are granted; separately purchased top-up credits expire twelve (12) months after purchase. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable except as described in Section 4.
Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge; your credit allowance is adjusted to the new plan minus credits already used in the current period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

4. 14-day money-back guarantee

First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of their first payment, provided no more than one (1) completed video generation has been made on the account. The guarantee applies once per customer; we use account and payment information to prevent repeat claims. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. The guarantee applies to subscriptions only: the one-time $15 trial is a non-refundable purchase, and by starting it you agree that delivery of the credits begins immediately. Statutory rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.

5. Your content and generated output

You retain ownership of the materials you upload ("Input"). You grant us a limited license to process Input solely to operate the Service, including sending it to the third-party AI providers that perform the generation.
Subject to these Terms and to the third-party model providers' terms, we assign to you all rights we hold in the content generated for you ("Output"). You may use Output commercially. Note that under some laws, purely AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection, and similar outputs may be generated for other users.
You are responsible for ensuring your Input and your use of Output do not infringe third-party rights (including trademarks, copyrighted works, and personality rights) and comply with advertising laws and platform policies where you publish.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to create content that is unlawful, deceptive (including undisclosed deepfakes of real persons), infringing, defamatory, or that promotes harm; to violate the third-party AI providers' usage policies; to reverse-engineer the Service; to resell raw access to the underlying models; or to circumvent usage limits or the guarantee policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. To protect the Service and its users, we may also employ technical and organizational protective measures where we detect or reasonably suspect abuse, fraud, or a security threat — including rate limiting, blocking IP addresses, devices, payment instruments, or network ranges, requiring additional verification, and refusing or reversing transactions. We apply such measures proportionately and only to the extent needed to protect the Service.

7. File storage and retention

Generated files, and materials files you upload through the developer API, are stored for ninety (90) days from creation and are then permanently deleted. We may send you a reminder before deletion; you can disable reminders at any time. Download anything you want to keep before it expires. If your subscription ends, your stored files remain available for the remainder of their 90-day retention and any unexpired credits are frozen; both are restored if you resubscribe before they lapse.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Third-party AI providers may change or discontinue models, which can affect features and output characteristics. We may modify the Service and these Terms; material changes will be announced with reasonable notice, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for material breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 5, 9, and 11) survive.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. Questions about these Terms: [email protected].
